Investment Philosophy
Capri's investment philosophy is premised on the following beliefs:
- Commercial real estate is not a commodity. It is a unique asset class that requires distinct investment and management skills to properly execute.
- Real estate should, first and foremost, act as an income vehicle for the investor. Growth in value should serve to enhance, not replace, recurring operating income.
- Alignment of interests between the investor and investment advisor is of great importance. Structured terms such as advisor co-investment and performance-related management fees help to achieve this alignment.
